Dearborn Schools Community Ed & Childcare

We have a variety of School Age programs to meet the needs of our working families. Each of our programs are run by highly qualified staff who are trained school age Out of School Time professionals who are Dearborn Public School Employees. Our programs are currently Kids Club Before and After School at eight schools. Kids Club requires a minimum of TWO DAYS enrollment per child per week with a consistent schedule. This means the same days each week. 

We do have Kids Club for the students at STEM at Howe elementary and Bryant students at Haigh elementary

Rates for our Programs: 

Kids Club Pricing 2024-2025 School Year: Non-Refundable registration is $75 for the first child and $15 for each additional child. 

Your card will not be charged until your contract has been approved. 

Our daily charges for students attending Haigh, Long, Lindbergh, Whitmore-Bolles, Howard, Snow, Duvall are $12 per AM session and $12 per PM session 

Rates for Programs at Howe Montessori, STEM, Bryant and Divine Child: $15.00 per session

Siblings receive 10% discount.

Dearborn School Employees receive a 20% discount.

Discounts cannot be stacked.

Early Release and Half days: All of our programs DO NOT take part of half days and late starts. We will run a full program.

Early Release at Haigh, Long, Lindbergh, Whitmore-Bolles, Howard, Snow, Duvall will start at 2:25pm

Early release at Howe will start at 1:50 and Stem at 1:15 

Half Day at Haigh, Long, Lindbergh, Whitmore-Bolles, Howard, Snow, Duvall will start at will start at 12:05 pm

Half day at Howe will start 11:35 am 

Half day at Stem will start at 10:55am

Tuesday Early Release only 90 minutes= 11$

Tuesday early Release + afternoon session (Bundle) = 18$

Half day sessions= 25$

Here are some important points we do not want you to miss: : 

1. We do not credit your account for illness. We do appreciate you letting the classroom teacher or Kids Club site know if your child will not be attending; however, we cannot credit your account. If your child will be out for an extended period of time please contact our office to discuss your situation. 

2. We do not credit your account for vacations taken by your family during your regular schedule. Your payment secures your child’s spot.

3. There will not be credits for weather

4. Please remember you must have a REGULAR weekly schedule that is consistent. Every other week or a “rotating schedule” does not work for our system. 

5. You may EXIT the program but you will need to give us a ONE WEEK written notice . Please contact the billing secretary at billingech@dearbornschools.org

Kids Club calendar- we follow Dearborn Schools Calendar with the exception of early release and half days

Kids club staff will be on site 90 minutes early to care for your children.
